Attendance and Behavior
Students should arrive at least ten minutes ahead of time to allow time for clothing changes. If a student is unable to come to class, the parent or guardian is required to call the Tony Williams Dance Center at 617-524-4381 and leave a message. The director or teacher will place students in a make-up class at their discretion. Missing class does not entitle the student to a refund for that class. If the school does not receive a call regarding a no-show, the class will not be made up. If students arrive to class more than 10 minutes late they will only be allowed to observe the class.
Students who disrupt class with inappropriate behavior will receive a teacher warning and may be asked to leave the studio, and miss that class, if the behavior continues.
Excessive lateness, absences or misbehavior may result in a
- warning
- phone conversation with parent
- parent meeting and
- potential dismissal from class or school.
