Tap dance is an art form that derives its roots from Africa. It is derived from buck dancing that was developed in the slave trade. The hoofin style became popular during the Harlem Renaissance.
Ballet/Tap: (Ages 5-7) This class is an introduction to the two dance forms of Ballet & Tap. The foundation of both dances are introduced, the beginning of the class is ballet, and the second is tap, so students will be receiving instruction in both classes every week.
