 Janelle Gilchrist
from Stoneham, MA trained at Harriet Hoctor Ballet School, Boston Ballet, Broadway Theater Project, Concord Academy, Dance Theater of Harlem, and received her BFA in dance from the University of Hartford. Ms. Gilchrist danced professionally with Hartford Ballet, New Jersey Ballet, Legends in Concert, Neil Young, Celebrity Cruises, Anna Myer, and David Parker. She just completed her third year performing with Tony Williams' The Urban Nutcracker. This year Ms. Gilchrist danced 6 roles including the Sugar Plum Fairy. Ms. Gilchrist currently dances with Island Moving Company and with BalletRox. She is also the dance teacher at the Moses Brown School in Providence, RI and is excited to be joining the faculty at the Tony Williams Dance Center for 2008!
